(pssst hey i'm bumping this again just in case some people haven't seen it B-) also i updated the picture ooWOHHH)

:star:FAQ:star:

-What programs do you use?

FOR DRAWING: Manga studio/Clip studio paint. it's a FANTASTIC program that i definitely recommend. it's also very cheap if you get it on sale, too.

FOR ANIMATIONS: A mixture of Manga studio, GIF maker, and Video Pad. VP sucks but it's the only movie editor i have - i'm sure there are other better programs out there.

TABLET: Wacom Cintiq 13HD. one of those fancy tablets you can draw directly on the screen with. about 800 dollars if you buy it right from the site.

-How long did it take you to learn how to draw?

-i've been drawing digitally for about 6 years, and drawing in general ever since i could hold a pencil! but the truth is that i still learn new stuff every day and i am far from perfect. if you're really passionate about art, it shouldn't matter how much experience you have just as long as you have the will to improve : D

-Can I draw you fan art?

-BRO! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO ASK! fan art makes my entire year and i am eternally grateful to the people who like my characters enough to draw them ;//u//; please don't feel obliged, though!! <3

-Why don't you draw cats with noses?

-ALL RIGHT I DUNNO WHY THIS IS SUCH A WIDESPREAD INTERNATIONAL ISSUE BUT IT'S PROBABLY THE QUESTION I GET ASKED THE MOST. so here is my explanation.
my main characters are based off cats for sure, but i like to think of them as weird furry monsters more than anything. not drawing noses kinda gives them that feel and also separates them from being dogs or foxes or any other kind of animal. they've kinda evolved into my own creations in that way, i think.
in addition, it's really a stylistic choice. i try to keep my style very cartoony - in my opinion, leaving out noses leaves more room for exaggerated expressions, which i am quite passionate about if you couldn't already tell.
and besides, plenty of other cartoons and shows leave out noses (eddsworld, catscratch, south park, kick buttowski, adventure time, to name a few). i don't know why it's so weird for me to do the same.

-Can I be your friend?

-hey man, i'm flattered that you want to get to know me more! but please do yourself a favor and don't ask this directly. friendships are made through talking and bonding, not asking. if you want to be my friend, please don't hesitate to strike up a conversation with me in the comments! :]

-Wanna do an art trade?

-i normally don't do art trades unless i know you very well or if we're mutuals. also PLEASE don't try to befriend me just for the sake of getting free art, i will be able to tell.

-Why haven't you replied to my comment/note/etc.?

most of the time, this is my own fault. i'm not going to lie and say i'm always busy 24/7 - the truth is that i am an incredibly distracted and forgetful person and sometimes it's hard to keep on top of my messages since so many comments get buried if i don't reply to them right away. please be patient though! i read every comment i get and i try to reply to all of them eventually. also please do me a favor and don't try to talk to me through notes unless you need to tell me something really important and/or private, because it's extremely easy for me to forget about notes since the notification disappears as soon as you read it. @___@

-Can I repost your art on another site?

- if you really want to, REMEMBER THAT GIVING CREDIT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. i don't really have a problem with it unless you're passing it off as your own.

-I'm trying to start my own comic! Any tips?

i've answered this before, so i figured i'd repost the comment here if anyone's interested!

staying motivated is the key to finishing any big project, especially something as big as comic making. first of all you gotta ask yourself, is this a story that i REALLY want to get out there? passion for telling a story is the most important part of comic making imo, and if you're passionate enough about the story that you created then for the most part staying motivated shouldn't be a problem. if it is, go back and take some time to develop it more until it's a story you're like BURSTING at the seams to tell. fall in love with your own characters, put them in a unique and well-developed world/setting, give them interesting and believable conflicts, just put something in the story that gives the readers something to come back to.
and another really important part of the whole process - for the love of god, WRITE THINGS DOWN. from little ideas to huge story breakthroughs, write everything down in a google doc/journal/etc. and before you start anything, make sure the story has a clear beginning, middle, and end. if the story isn't developed all the way through (even in a basic outline) it is SUPER easy to get hung up on pages because you're not sure where you should go next. so don't be afraid to take all the time you need to do this, it is crucially important in moving forward and keeping you motivated- so the more time spent developing it, the better. i'm not saying you have to have EVERYTHING 100% fleshed out before you even start the first page- obviously as time goes on you'll discover new ways to add on to the story here and there, but you at least have to have a basic idea of where you're going and what's going to happen. in my experience, writing down a timeline of major events is a good way to start, and from there you can expand upon them by adding smaller details.
but all in all, all you really need to stay motivated is the drive to tell a story and a drive to improve. if you push yourself to achieve your goals, you can pretty much do anything!

-Where else can I find you?

i have a list of social media sites i use right on my page! (the most active being twitter.) if there is someone who is claiming to be me on a site other than the ones on the list, it's not me.

-What do you look like IRL?

i mean, the way i draw myself isn't too far off from what i actually look like.

AAAAYYYY by stopthatrightnow

sometimes i post selfies as proper deviations every now and then, and you can find even more on instagram. LOOK AROUND FOR EM. i'm not at all self conscious about my hideous goblin face

ur welcome

Hello there! I apologize if you get this question a lot ;v;

I've noticed that your commissions have been closed for quite some time ;o; When do you think you will be reopening them? I understand if you decide not to since I know your busy with school (which is very commendable)!
